New Features Summary – Winter 2023

Improved Business Intelligence Data
Understanding what is happening across the various parts of your business is critical to making the right business decisions.
That’s why we’ve developed our Business Intelligence module to now include data from Quotations, Equipment Deal, and more. Allowing you a broader range of reports and insights across your business. For example, you can now analyse the size of your equipment deals, the SIC codes of your customers, giving you all the data you need to make informed business decisions.
New Standard Reports
We’ve introduced some new standard reports, such as our Warranty Report, which enables you to track warranties across all equipment and parts. Particularly useful when you are quoting for a job, users can check quickly whether the equipment and parts are still under warranty or if it has expired.
Additional Filtering
We have also increased the number of filters you can apply across dashboard and reports, meaning you can generate more accurate and useful reports. For example, you might find it useful to narrow down your stock replenishment report to a single bin.
Additional filtering allows you to get to the important information you are looking for without having to manually search, and saves you the hassle of exporting the data to sort elsewhere.
UI Design
We’ve been working on some subtle improvements to the way our software looks to make it easier to use. We’ve made changes to the font, icons, and decluttered a number of screens. We want your user experience to be as zen-like as possible.
Tooltips
We’ve added a bunch of tooltips to give users, particularly new users, a helping hand when it comes to finding your way around the software. If you’re a master of Service Geeni and find your less experienced colleagues are always asking for help, you can now direct them to a tooltip!
Automatic Data Fill
We’ve made our screens more intelligent too, pulling in data automatically from different parts of the software, reducing the time you spend typing and the potential for error.
Private Notes
You can now add notes across various screens which means you can capture more information for when you might need it in the future. That’s less to remember off the top of your head, and more Service Geeni can help with.
Quality & Performance
As well as developing new features, we have been working hard to resolve customer reported issues and bugs. We have resolved and closed a grand total of 250 customer issues since November 2023, and improved performance in various areas of the software to speed up your daily work activities.
